A note on the bounds of Laplacian-energy-like-invariant
The Laplacian-energy-like of a simple connected graph G is defined as LEL:=LEL(G)=∑_(i=1)^n√(μ_i ), Where μ_1 (G)≥μ_2 (G)≥⋯≥μ_n (G)=0 are the Laplacian eigenvalues of the graph G. Some upper and lower bounds for LEL are presented in this note. Moreover, throughout this work, some results related to lower bound of spectral radius of graph are obtained using the term of ΔG as the num...
متن کاملImplicitization and Distance Bounds
We address the following problem: given a curve in parametric form, compute the implicit representation of another one that approximates the parametric curve on a certain domain of interest. We study this problem from the numerical point of view: what happens with the output curve if the input curve is slightly changed? It is shown that for any approximate parameterization of the given curve, t...
متن کاملBounds on $m_r(2,29)$
An $(n, r)$-arc is a set of $n$ points of a projective plane such that some $r$, but no $r+1$ of them, are collinear. The maximum size of an $(n, r)$-arc in PG(2, q) is denoted by $m_r(2,q)$. In this paper thirteen new $(n, r)$-arc in PG(2,,29) and a table with the best known lower and upper bounds on $m_r(2,29)$ are presented. The results are obtained by non-exhaustive local computer search.
متن کاملOptimal Distance Bounds on Time-Series Data
Most data mining operations include an integral search component at their core. For example, the performance of similarity search or classification based on Nearest Neighbors is largely dependent on the underlying compression and distance estimation techniques. As data repositories grow larger, there is an explicit need not only for storing the data in a compressed form, but also for facilitati...
متن کاملDistance bounds on quantum dynamics
When an open quantum system undergoes a dynamical evolution generated by a Hamiltonian, how far does its state evolve from itself compared to the magnitude of the Hamiltonian? This is a fundamental question that is central to quantum-information science 1 and quantum control 2,3 . In order to make it more precise, suppose that the unitary propagator of the evolution, U t , which is related to t...
